Key Largo

Key Largo is located in Monroe County south of Miami between Florida City and Islamorada along US Highway 1 near the Florida Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Key Largo is known as the diving capital of the world and is home to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, a spectacular underwater park. The Florida Keys offer as much or as little as you want to do.

Fresh seafood, of course, is the specialty here, and no seafood lover should leave without sampling the mouth-watering bounty of the local waters. The island is also dotted with colorful shopping areas filled with "Keys-style" merchandise.
