Hanalei

Hanalei is located on the north-central coast of the island of Kauai Island, between Haena and Princeville along Highway 56 on the banks of the Hanalei River near Lumahai Beach and Hanalei Bay.

The village has a charming collection of boutiques, art galleries and restaurants, and is home to the Ching Young Village, which is an open-air shopping center that started as a general store in 1906. Hanalei Bay is a beautiful crescent shaped beach that is carved into the base of a steep cliff on one side and it narrows into a rocky point on the other side. You will find swimming, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, surfing and other outdoors activities in the area.
