Mesquite

Mesquite is located northeast of Las Vegas between Glendale and the Arizona state line along Interstate 15 on the banks of the Virgin River near the Utah state line.

Mesquite is part of the Las Vegas, Nevada-Arizona metro area.

It was named for the plant growing here in profusion and was the filming location for 1997 movie, "Truth or Consequences, N.M.".
