Clyde

Clyde is located in northwestern Ohio in Sandusky County about 35 miles southwest of Toledo and 7 miles southeast of Fremont, the county seat. Sandusky Bay and Lake Erie are 10 and 20 miles to the north, respectively. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 5,990, a decrease of 97 since 1990.

Local attractions include the senecaca and the Sorrowful Mother Shrine about 10 miles southeast of town. Higher education can be found in Tiffin about 15 miles to the southwest.

Golfers have a choice of Sleepy Hollow Golf Club and Green Hills Golf Course which offers a regulation 18-hole course and a short, 9-hole, par 3-style executive course.
