Logan
Logan is located in souteastern Ohio in Hocking County (of which it is the county seat) 40 miles southeast of Columbus and 20 miles northwest of Athens.
Nearby outdoor recreation includes Hocking Hills State Park and Hocking State Forest which are located about 10 miles southwest of town. In addition, hikers and backpackers enjoy their treks through the Old Man's Cave area just south of the above named venues. The cave was named for Richard Rowe, a hermit who lived in the cave for several years in the late 1700s.
Brass Ring Golf Club, built in 1940, awaits golfers of all skill levels. This semi-private club with an open guest policy features a 5,850-yard course that plays to a par of 70.
