Louisville is located in northeastern Ohio in Stark County about 50 miles south-southeast of Cleveland and 10 miles east-northeast of Canton.

Outdoor recreation can be found at quailhsp about 10 miles north of town as well as water-related activities around Berlin Lake and Walbom Reservoir less than 15 miles to the northeast.
