Oxford
Oxford is located in southwest Ohio in northwestern Butler County 25 miles northwest of Cincinnati and 30 miles southwest of Dayton.
Higher education comes in the form of Miami University. This highly respected University, established in 1809, has been refered to as one of the eight original "Public Ivies" and the top "value" in Ohio (Kipplinger's).
For golfers, Hueston Woods Golf Course is an 18-hole layout that is open to the public while Oxford Country Club is a private club but offering a reciprocal guest agreement with members of other clubs. They feature a 9-hole course which opened for play in 1938 and plays to length of about 3,050 yards while carrying a par of 36.
