Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Real Estate
Welcome to the Bonosearch page for Real Estate in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Real Estate, Oklahoma
Bartlesville is located in northeastern Oklahoma in Washington County (of which it is the county seat) north of Tulsa two miles west of Highway 75 on the banks of the Caney River near the Kansas border and south of Lake Hulah and Copan Lake.
The town was noted as a weekend getaway location for oil tycoons such as Frank Phillips of Phillips Petroleum and H.V. Foster, once the richest man west of the Mississippi River. Their mansions, Woolaroc and La Quinta Mansion, respectively, stand as monuments to the oil and cattle barons of the early 20th century.
Area attractions include the 19-story Price Tower, a glass-and-copper strucure designed by reknowned American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The Oklahoma Mozart International Festival is held at the Bartlesville Community Center each June.
For those enjoying the outdoors, Bartlesville is only minutes from Osage Hills State Park and Bluestem Lake to the west and Wah-Sha-She State Park to the north.
Post-high school education is available at Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
