Easley is located in Pickens County along US Highway 123 near Lake Keowee. Easley is located a few miles west of Greenville in Pickens County in the northwest corner of South Carolina.
The town of Easley began in 1874 when Colonel Robert Edward Holcombe built a railroad depot in what is now downtown. That railroad may be the only symbol of those humble beginnings.
