Nashville is located in Davidson County and it is the county seat. It lies on hilly ground alongside the Cumberland River. Today, Nashville is famous as the home of the Grand Ole Opry, one of several music-oriented attractions. The city's three top employers are the service industry, 31.6 percent; trade, 24.5 percent; and manufacturing, 14.5 percent.
